The Puppeteer

My name is Cesare Maschi. I'm a puppeteer. I'm 43 and I'm Italian.

When I'm performing, I like it when the children start to interact, because it's there when it becomes real for them; puppets become real people, with their real character...I like it when the audience goes mad. I try all the time to make them more and more involved in the show. That makes it really rewarding for me; the story can be different and that makes it special and bespoke for them, so they go away feeling they were a part of the performance.
